Homeowners and renters, including those whose heat is included in their rent, can apply for fuel assistance. If you have already sent in your documentation, please allow us weeks to process them. If you are a first-time client or are experiencing a heating emergency, please call us at and we will answer or call back as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding. Eligibility for assistance to pay your fuel bill is based on gross annual income and household size. NOTE: For household sizes larger than 6, please speak with a Fuel Assistance staff member and mention your household size. Please note, given the volume of applications we receive it can take some time for your application to be processed. Please be patient. You can check the status of your application through our automated phone system by calling and follow the voice prompts.
